Public Uses

If desired a end-user can disable in BIOS and revert to previous operation. This creates a two-fold internet of those who do and those who do not use C.U.P.I.D. For anyone not using C.U.P.I.D. all would remain exactly as things are today.

Enables ability to catch any virus at any level on a given computer, including but not limited to chip-embedded exploits, BIOS-level unauthorized spyware/malware and any USB or plugged-in device. Proper anti-virus definitions are required.

Variable on-the-fly encryption

With proper legal procedure, allows ability to grant full access to even a locked device. Many non-technical (legal) issues would need to be addressed however. Either way the ISP and A/V vendor are added layers of privacy protection.

C.U.P.I.D. can survive a full BIOS wipe/reinstall/update.

With a scaled down approach, GPS (no more airplane vulnerabilities), baby monitors, web-enabled cameras, televisions, and self-driving cars (C2C or V2V tech) could receive limited protections the C.U.P.I.D. design offers. The possibility to fully enable these devices is certainly possible in any future releases of those devices/technologies. Clearly there will be a need for more patents as C.U.P.I.D. proliferates. One step at a time though.
